jang430
Hi. I like to have SSD as my cache drive. It's really fast. I find it a waste of money though to have a secondary SSD as cache (mirrored) as SSD is really expensive. Is it possible to use a regular HDD as the mirror of an SSD cache drive? How will the SSD perform now? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
It's possible but not a good idea, write performance will be limited by the HDD, read performance will be a little better since btrfs alternate reads between both, but not much better. Quote Link to comment
