jang430
Hi. I don't mind deleting the folders entirely, even with data. I executed rm -rf foldername, and still got "Exec format error." I tried deleting them from midnight commander, still cannot delete the folders. Hope you can help. root@Tower:/mnt/user/Media/Movies/HDMovies# find . -empty -type d -delete find: `./Million Dollar Arm (2014)': Exec format error find: cannot delete `./Million Dollar Arm (2014)': Directory not empty find: `./Indignation (2016)/.actors': Exec format error find: cannot delete `./Indignation (2016)/.actors': Directory not empty find: `./Light Between Oceans, The (2016) 1080p Obfuscated': Exec format error find: cannot delete `./Light Between Oceans, The (2016) 1080p Obfuscated': Directory not empty find: `./Ghost Story, A (2017)': Exec format error find: cannot delete `./Ghost Story, A (2017)': Directory not empty find: `./Noah (2014)': Exec format error find: cannot delete `./Noah (2014)': Directory not empty find: `./Going in Style (2017)': Exec format error find: cannot delete `./Going in Style (2017)': Directory not empty find: `./Bone to Pick An Aurora Teagarden Mystery, A (2015)': Exec format error find: cannot delete `./Bone to Pick An Aurora Teagarden Mystery, A (2015)': Directory not empty find: `./Family Man, A (2017)': Exec format error find: cannot delete `./Family Man, A (2017)': Directory not empty Quote Link to comment

Squid
Does rm work on other folders / files? If not, sounds like its corrupted / bad memory (memtest to check). A reboot might help Quote Link to comment

I would like to just delete them totally, but I can't. Hey keep on coming back, or, an error in command will happen when I execute in Linux. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment

Maybe post diagnostics (or the filenames contain some really weird characters)What type of diagnostic do I post? Does unraid diagnostic show failed file deletions? Folder names are very plain. As in there are no weird characters, and pretty short only. E. G. Family Man. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
