scruffpot Posted August 21, 2017 Share Posted August 21, 2017 (edited) Hi all So I built a small HP ex485 in to a UnRaid device. Running very nicely and learning all about it all. The problem I have Ive just upgraded the ram to 4GB but the dashboard is saying.. Memory size allocated 1.996GB Installed 2GB (max.capacity 4GB) Any ideas to make it recognise the 4GB that would be super..other than that its running like a dream Or if there are any other tweaks I can make? It runs a dual core E5200, I also have the vga, mouse/keyboard leads as well. JonathanM Posted August 21, 2017 Share Posted August 21, 2017 Sounds like your upgrade didn't work correctly, there is nothing you can adjust in the software to correct that. Was the specific model of RAM you used verified to work in that machine? Not all RAM chips are compatible, even if they have the same general specs. Quote Link to comment
