SSD cache pool only utilises 1 disk?

Recommended Posts

The diagnostics confirm only one device (cache2) is being used, this should fix it:

-Backup your cache in case something goes wrong

-Stop the array

-if you rebooted since check that cache1 is still sdf and wipe it using:

blkdiscard /dev/sdf

-on the WebGUI click on "Main", cache1 SSD icon should turn blue

-start the array, a balance will begin and when all cache pool read/writes stop the pool should now be using both devices.

You can post new diags to confirm if unsure.

Johnie! In need of your help again..

Added 2 more 160gb intel ssd's but balancing does not work anymore, ends with:

No balance found on '/mnt/cache'

Tried both:
-dconvert=raid1 -mconvert=raid1

and

-dconvert=raid10 -mconvert=raid10

Attached diags again!

edit: Tried scrubbing.. but ended with 3 non recoverable errors.
