nih
I'm on a MSI B250M Mortar Arctic, Socket-1151 with an i5-7300. My router is an RT-AC88U. Currently the tower keeps assigning a 169.x.x.x IP and finding there's no connection, drops the carrier. There's probably something very obvious I'm missing. tower-diagnostics-20170723-0000.zip Edited July 23, 2017 by nih Quote Link to comment

Ultimately, you need to post your diagnostics. (Boot into GUI mode and then Tools - Diagnostics - file will be saved on the flash drive) Quote Link to comment

Squid
Reset your router and/or confirm that the DHCP server in it is enabled. 1 Quote Link to comment
nih
The problem seemed to have been with the motherboard and some settings therein. Resetting the router did nothing to alleviate the problem, but after fiddling with the uefi, things are now up and running. Now I just need to figure out how to migrate all my data! Thanks for the assistance, Squid. Quote Link to comment
