a hdd identification and basic quick read write test on flash menu

on the usb flash when you first boot there is a menu to boot the system, was thinking another button that allows you to do a quick hdd size find and its current name example /sda also an option to do a quick read and write speed test then you can tweak your set up before it fully boots,even to display how old the drive is a maybe even a quick smart enquiry and or total size potential without twin parity and twin cache, its a way to see what you got and its potential and to move drives around to different sata ports for optimum performance

At the point that the Boot menu is displayed their is no OS loaded so unRAID OS is not yet involved.   If you can find such a tool that can be run pre-boot of an OS then it could be added to the unRAID boot menu, but I very much doubt that anything like that exists.
