LZMA Data Corrupt message

Recommended Posts

I updated to 6.3.5 this afternoon, and I did it through the GUI. On reboot, I receive a message that LZMA Data is corrupt and the System is Halted.

Help?!?!   This system has been running stable for quite some time, and I have not had a problem updating in the past.

Whew! Thanks!

Perhaps something in the new Kernel that's not agreeing with my older hardware?

Doubt it.  Sounds more like the write was corrupted.  (or your memory is no good -> run memtest)
