Any one using a tripp lite ups? [Update: Mine works]

I am trying to figure out if unraid will support a tripp lite ups.

It is supported by Nut.  Protocol is open so there is _possibly_ some support with apcupsd using 'usb' for type and cable.

Haha so basically maybe? Well at least I know its on the list now and it wouldn't be a complete guess.

 Nut is available as a plugin so you would have support through that.  For the built-in apcupsd in unRAID, yes, that is a maybe.

I have an older rackmount and it never worked right.  Even using nut.  It was one of the little SMART500RT1U  units.  It has been replaced by a APC SmartUPS 1000.  None of them I paid for.  So I would never actually pay for a triplite if I wanted to use it for UnRaid

Well I ended up buying the one I linked above and it works fine with the unraid ups settings. I do have nut installed but I am not using it.

Yep, both as USB.

I am looking at this one as well. 

 

Have you had a power outage and have it shut down correctly? my UPS went bad and causing my server to go down a lot recently.
