Uggers
Does anyone know much about how the PC-Q25 backplane sockets are connected. When I was inserting a drive, the power socket on the back pushed out, I could see the exposed pins. It pushed back in fine and powered up fine. But I'm not sure if thats ok or its faulty. It seems quite hard to get hold of this case now in the UK and the company i bought it off will only offer a refund. Quote Link to comment
HellDiverUK
I don't understand how push a drive in could push out the back power socket? There's a thick PCB in between. I think you've probably broken/bent the socket off without noticing. I've been using the PC-Q25 cases for years (I've had a few, and used a whole lot more in builds I sold), and only had one socket break, and that was because an over-thick PSU cable bunched up and the connector twisted when I popped the side on to the case. Even then, the socket was easily pushed back on. Quote Link to comment
