DarkKnight
I have a few SAS drives in my server and I'm aware that there is a problem in v6 getting them to spin down. Is there a way to block the spindown command on a per drive basis, or at least prevent the command being sent to SAS drives? It's hitting the log every few seconds and causing higher than normal CPU usage. I spin up all the drives to stop it and extended the spin down time to 6 hours, but this isn't ideal. FWIW, the SAS drives are by far the fastest, most reliable drives in my server and they serve as the two parity drives plus a data drive. I'd rather not pull them. itimpi
If you click on the diskX name in the Main Tab then you can set custom values for that drive that over-ride the global values. Quote Link to comment
