Windows 10 won't output video through gpu even though other OS will.

Hello all!

I recently updated my unraid server to a asus z9 pe-d8 ws motherboard with 2x e5-2670 xeons and 32gb of ddr3-1600 ram. I've been trying to setup a new windows 10 vm using 4 hyper-threaded cores, 16gb of ram, and a gtx660ti. My motherboard has onboard video set to primary vga, and an gt710 also. The vm works wonderfully through vnc and the gt710, but will not output video through the 660ti. At first I thought maybe it was the card itself as it's rather old, but then I was able to get a manjaro linux vm as well as a mint linux vm to output through the gpu. I've disabled fast startup in the win10 vm as suggested and can't think of anything else that would cause such a problem.

 

Things I've done:

Installed all virtio drivers necessary

Tested different pcie slots for consistency

Disabled fast startup

*Dumping the vbios
