Spies
I have been running 4x 500GB drives for a while, I added a 3TB parity with the intention of replacing each 500GB drive with a 3TB. Each of the drives was pre-cleared beforehand to ensure the drive was healthy. I replaced the first 500GB (disk1) with a 3TB, this was rebuilt from parity without issue, I have now replaced the second 500GB with another 3TB (disk2) and after rebuilding the data onto that disk, unraid notified me that there was now error on disk1, the current error count shows 64, the local console also has lots of repeating text regarding missing sense data. Attached is my syslog and SMART report from the drive in question, I'm currently running an extended SMART test on the drive as well. I am going to move the data to another disc in the array using unbalance once the permissions issues are fixed. syslog.txt WD3001FYYG-01SL3_WMC1F0D9P12F_350000c0f01f60c14-20170422-1450.txt Quote Link to comment
