Floppy012
Hello, my main OS is currently Linux but I want to play games that don't run on linux that well. So I currently have a dual-boot setup with linux and windows. A friend of mine told me about unRAID. It looks cool but I have some concerns about VAC (Valve Anti Cheat) since unRAID runs VMs I wanted to know if anyone has experience with unRAID and competetive games. I heard, that VAC has some kind of VM detection and competetive games won't start on VMs. So is there anyone here who plays CS:GO or some other kind of competetive game using VAC and can confirm, that this works without any problems (on Windows)? CHBMB
Here's one report relevant to your question, looks like @jonp one of the LimeTech staff are onto the problem, hopefully now I've pinged him he'll be able to update you some more on the current state of play. 1 Quote Link to comment
