jprovan Posted March 29, 2017 Share Posted March 29, 2017 I have a HDMI KVM switch. My USB is passed through to a Windows 10 VM. Once I switch away from Windows, when I come back, the USB no longer functions. For real machines this works fine. Quote Link to comment

When you toggle your switch, you are essentially disconnecting the M&K from your VM and hot attach is not directly supported yet. The plugin referenced is probably a good solution but to be truly comparable to bare metal, controller pass through will be needed. Quote Link to comment
