Russ Uno
Should I worry about disc 4 which is showing a yellow icon in Dashboard > Smart Status but green on the Main Menu. Look at #187 in the smart report. Thanks tower-smart-20170322-1551.zip Quote Link to comment
ashman70
So this is the smart report you ran in unRAID? If you go into the disk details, can you do a screen shot of those values? Quote Link to comment
Russ Uno
Not sure what you mean by Disc Details.. Where do I find that..? BTW This is UnRaid Version 6.1.9... I thought it would show up in my sig like the old forum but see it did not. Quote Link to comment
ashman70
Go the MAIN tab and click on the disk on the left, it will take you to a screen with more details about the disk, so if its Disc 3, click on where it says Disc 3, then take a screen shot of everything under where it says Attributes. Russ Uno
Also if it helps. Quote Link to comment
ashman70
You could swap it out with a new drive, then run a pre clear on it a few times and see if it goes away, if does just keep it as a spare. I assume its not under warranty anymore? Quote Link to comment
Russ Uno
Out of warranty as of 2/10/17 ... Errr! I'll keep an eye on it and swap it as ASAP with a pre cleared spare. These new drive don't last like the old ones. I have never seen that error before. Drive 5 is over 8 yrs and still going, but slower, as are many of my drives. Quote Link to comment
SSD
I would not let one reported uncorrect be a death sentence for this drive. I have a disk that developed one early in its life and the number has never increased. It is not a problem. It's really changes in attribute values more than absolute values that show a drive is failing. 1 Quote Link to comment

Russ Uno
Ok, Thanks guys I'll keep an eye on it. I just have never seen this type of error before so wasn't sure what to make of it. Is there any way to clear the yellow triangle on the dashboard smart status or do i have to just live with it. Quote Link to comment
