Baselope
I am having an issue with my Plex docker as well. It will not start. i have tried removing and reinstalling, tried deleting the docker image. It happens regardless of which plex docker I install, (binhex, linusserver, plexinc). I have had it working before, and quite well. This started after I cleared my config and rebuilt the array. Here is the log from start until I stop it: [s6-init] making user provided files available at /var/run/s6/etc...exited 0.[s6-init] ensuring user provided files have correct perms...exited 0.[fix-attrs.d] applying ownership & permissions fixes...[fix-attrs.d] done.[cont-init.d] executing container initialization scripts...[cont-init.d] 40-plex-first-run: executing...Creating pref shellAttempting to obtain server token from claim token% Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time CurrentDload Upload Total Spent Left SpeedPlex Media Server first run setup complete[cont-init.d] 40-plex-first-run: exited 0.[cont-init.d] 50-plex-update: executing...[cont-init.d] 50-plex-update: exited 0.[cont-init.d] done.[services.d] starting services[services.d] done.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.Starting Plex Media Server.[cont-finish.d] executing container finish scripts...[cont-finish.d] done.[s6-finish] syncing disks.[s6-finish] sending all processes the TERM signal.[s6-finish] sending all processes the KILL signal and exiting. Thank you!! unraid1-diagnostics-20170318-1235.zip And where is your docker run command? I have split your posts into their own thread. Please don't hijack. It is very difficult to support multiple people in the same thread, even if they think (possibly incorrectly) they have the same issue. Quote Link to comment
phbigred
Well I had the same thing happen. Found out that (even after clearing out my flash drive) as soon as I put on the CA Backup it caused the problem. Removed the CAbackup manually by removing the plugin from another machine. Bingo, spent 3 days trying to get it going. Tried all 3 main dockers. Linuxserver.IO Limetech PlexMediaServer and plex.inc. All with similar problems with the exception of Limetechs. It was throwing a 6 1000 error. Wonder if something in CA Backup is causing a loop as I've never had it happen before! Quote Link to comment

I am sure many others can say the same. If you want support for this On 3/18/2017 at 3:02 PM, trurl said: Please don't hijack. CattDamon
I'm having this exact issue! It seemed to start happening when I use these settings: Tunable (md_write_method): reconstruct write Tunable (enable Direct IO): Yes Not sure if this has anything to do with it. ____________________________________________________________________________________________ This is the log of things I'm seeing: [s6-init] making user provided files available at /var/run/s6/etc...exited 0.[s6-init] ensuring user provided files have correct perms...exited 0.[fix-attrs.d] applying ownership & permissions fixes...[fix-attrs.d] done.[cont-init.d] executing container initialization scripts...[cont-init.d] 10-adduser: executing...-------------------------------------_ _ _| |___| (_) ___| / __| | |/ _ \| \__ \ | | (_) ||_|___/ |_|\___/|_|Brought to you by linuxserver.ioWe gratefully accept donations at:https://www.linuxserver.io/donations/-------------------------------------GID/UID-------------------------------------User uid: 99User gid: 100-------------------------------------[cont-init.d] 10-adduser: exited 0.[cont-init.d] 30-dbus: executing...[cont-init.d] 30-dbus: exited 0.[cont-init.d] 40-chown-files: executing...[cont-init.d] 40-chown-files: exited 0.[cont-init.d] 50-plex-update: executing...###################################################### Login via the webui at http://<ip>:32400/web ## and restart the docker, because there was no ## preference file found, possibly first startup. ######################################################[cont-init.d] 50-plex-update: exited 0.[cont-init.d] done.[services.d] starting servicesStarting Plex Media Server.Starting dbus-daemon[services.d] done.dbus[265]: [system] org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied: Failed to set fd limit to 65536: Operation not permittedStarting Plex Media Server.Starting Avahi daemonFound user 'avahi' (UID 106) and group 'avahi' (GID 107).Successfully dropped root privileges.avahi-daemon 0.6.32-rc starting up.No service file found in /etc/avahi/services.socket() failed: Address family not supported by protocolFailed to create IPv6 socket, proceeding in IPv4 only modesocket() failed: Address family not supported by protocolJoining mDNS multicast group on interface eth0.IPv4 with address 172.17.0.3.New relevant interface eth0.IPv4 for mDNS.Network interface enumeration completed.Registering new address record for 172.17.0.3 on eth0.IPv4.Server startup complete. phbigred
Had the same issue with starting. I baselined my settings and didn't do any tuning pulling all plugins. Only plugins I had installed was CA and backup. Pulled backup and removed the docker and did a repull. Then it started, odd I would find that one causing an issue. Post rebuild I did reload tips and tweaks and recycle bin and haven't had issues. Did you recently update any plugins? Not fully placing the blame on CA Backup but that's what I removed to fix. My log starting looked the same as CattDamon's above. Edited April 16, 2017 by phbigred Quote Link to comment
