Cessquill
Hi - I don't know whether it's a backlog caused by the migration, but I'm getting post notifications from about 23 hours ago. I'm currently set to receive emails whenever a reply is posted (I think), and I've been gradually getting them throughout the morning about a docker topic I'm following. Might this be something that's flushed out once everything catches up? Quote Link to comment
autumnwalker
Admin had previously mentioned (elsewhere) that the current email relay has rate limited the outgoing email. That is what is believed to be causing the backlog and should only be temporary until the backlog flushes and messages return to normal. 1 Quote Link to comment
binhex
yep add me to the list of people also receiving messages i have already read, probably is some cross-over from the old to the new but worth mentioning to @jonp 1 Quote Link to comment

Thanks I was guessing that for the next 48 hours we'll be getting some oddities until everything propagates and flushes. Quote Link to comment
autumnwalker
Yup - sounds like it. Part of the fun when you migrate forum software Original thread is here: Quote Link to comment
jonp
Mentioned this in the other thread as well, but yeah, we ran into sending limits with the cutover that we hadn't anticipated but I believe those are resolved now and e-mail notifications should be functional again. 1 Quote Link to comment
