rbronco21
Watched a movie a few days ago (Kodi in a FireTV) and just noticed all the vobs are listed in "Active Streams." I'm guessing this will keep the disk spinning. Has anyone dealt with this and figured out how to make Kodi release the files? I know I'm asking about Kodi, but I figured this may be an issue other unRAID users may have seen. I'm posting the same question there and will update if I find an answer. Quote Link to comment

Never noticed this, but on paused movies, the connection is still active to the file and the drive(s) will still spin down. Quote Link to comment

I am trying another version of Kodi to see if I get the same results. Quote Link to comment
carolyn6
Which version did you use? Quote Link to comment
rbronco21
I've been using SPMC alphas without issue for a while, but I don't remember what I was on at the time. It was an older version, 16.x, and it may have been SPMC instead of Kodi. https://github.com/koying/SPMC/issues/936 Quote Link to comment
