can't stop my array, restarting triggers parity check

Hi, I'm using latest stable version.  Sorry I wasn't able to take note of the exact version.  I recently did some changes to my unraid.  I disabled user shares.  I then restarted the server.  It restarted, this time around, user shares were no longer there, as expected.  Now, I want to get it back, it says I need to stop the array.  I pressed stop array, but even after 1 hour, the screen shows stopping array, no changes.  Accessing it using a different browser, the page is no longer accessible.  Soon, my windows machine will tell me disk share is no longer accessible.  I believe this is normal.  But array never stops.  I leave it for several hours, still the same.  Restarting the server triggers parity check, and my array is set to start on startup.  How can I stop the array to be able to enable my user shares once again?  So far, every restart allows docker to work, disk shares to work, so it works perfectly.  Except parity starts checking, and array starts automatically.  There's no way for me to start my user shares.

Please help.

Hi.  Just want to inform everyone since no one replied, I have since fixed this issue.

I overlooked that I can go to settings, and click on Disk settings, and select Enable auto start:, select no.  I forced it to restart, and array was stopped.  I was able to do what I wanted afterwards.
