Windows 10 VM locking up unRAID 6.2 entirely on installation of Avast AV?

Ive opened up a ticket with Bitdefender about this issue. I cant seem to get their latest 2017 antivirus installed either. Have to sneak in and run their uninstaller before the VM takes a dive.

 

Will let everyone know what i find.

Avast locked up my Win 10 VM as well.  I am running Sophos Home (free) without issue on my Win 10 VM.

after the problem with the Windows 7 VM and Avast a few months ago my unraid server was running without a problem or reboot till today. I wanted to reinstall AVG because it somehow installed browserplugins and all its other stupid blowware..´. So uninstalled AVG and downloaded AVG Free Version 1606. During installation the hole VM frooze, at first only the VM but then again the hole unraid looked up and a few moments later the "frozen server" started to block my hole network again and all other devices lost there internet-connection....

 

After 30 minutes for searching and reading here i guess there is still nos solution for this problem? And everyone still thinks this is a Avast<->KVM only problem???

This is absolutely an issue with KVM that can be solved by updating to unRAID 6.3.

Bitdefender is still experiencing this issue after upgrading to 6.3

Must be a different issue then unrelated to nested virtualization. Will try to recreate.
