Shadowrunner
Hi all, I getting the below error showing up in the system log. Feb 19 16:41:46 Tower kernel: usb 4-1.3: USB disconnect, device number 7 Feb 19 16:41:46 Tower kernel: usb 4-1.3: new high-speed USB device number 8 using ehci-pci Feb 19 16:41:46 Tower kernel: hub 4-1.3:1.0: USB hub found Feb 19 16:41:46 Tower kernel: hub 4-1.3:1.0: 2 ports detected Feb 19 16:42:36 Tower kernel: usb 4-1.3: USB disconnect, device number 8 It keeps going on like this every minute or so, with each successive device being disconnected. The only things plugged into USB are the flash drive and the management cable to the UPS. Everything seems to be working ok but this message is filling up the logs quite quickly. Running 6.1.8 - Diagnostics attached. Thanks, SR tower-diagnostics-20160219-1644.zip Quote Link to comment
Squid
I had the exact same issue when I was running a VM using SeaBios. I re-set it back up as OVMF and those messages disappeared Quote Link to comment
Shadowrunner
I do have a SeaBIOS VM, but it's been running fine for months. I've only noticed these messages in the last couple of hours. SR Quote Link to comment
Shadowrunner
Well, I've rebuilt my VMs as OVMF but I'm still getting the same messages. Does anyone have any more suggestions? The only info I can find online is regarding the Raspberry Pi so probably isn't that much use here. SR Quote Link to comment
Shadowrunner
Finally resolved this by rolling back to 6.1.7 All fine since then. SR Quote Link to comment
