alphazo
Title says it all. I'm considering moving to 6.0 so I can use my preferred backup system "bup" in a more efficient way. Today I cannot run it with a large data set on a 32-bit system today. New filesystem options got my interest too. I'm wondering if formatting a disk under unRAID selecting XFS uses the new self-describing metadata option (aka CRC32)? It should be the "-m crc=1" option for the mkfs.xfs command (be default it is 0). Thanks Alphazo Quote Link to comment
alphazo
Well it looks like that current beta12 only ships with xfsprogs 3.1.1 so no metadata checksum support. I just posted a feature request to address that: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=36619.0 Quote Link to comment
