  1. New to unraid. Plex and Cache

Just make sure to install the docker to the cachedrive (it should end up in a share called appdata that is configured as a cachedrive only share.. If you were using dockers before the cachedrive got added they are on the array now (just stop all dockers, stop docker itself, move appdata to the cachedrive, set it cache onlyand restart your docker and dockers.. Then just install the docker, when you see a plex folder appearing under the appdata you are fine.
  2. [CONTAINER] CrashPlan & CrashPlan-Desktop

Anything else using your bandwidth? It all depends.. I regularly get 45Mb.. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk
  3. [CONTAINER] CrashPlan & CrashPlan-Desktop

I am using: jlesage/crashplan-pro But hey ! If its on the host then I can do that right away, thanks !! EDIT: Just did that, did not immediately work, crashplan also started to restart.. So I also increased the memory to 8gigs (it has been working on 4 gigs sofar and I have backupped 14 terabyte of files to crashplan without a problem...) Crashplan's advice is to have 1gig per terabyte, but that is based on the average amount of files on a system, and not on media storage (which typically is a lot of data but not so much files / large files). If the memory usage extrapolates in the same way I should be fine until I hit 35tb ( in the allready backupped set there also is my mysic library which is a lot of files again).
  4. [CONTAINER] CrashPlan & CrashPlan-Desktop

My crashplan is not backup up anymore.. Seems to have happened since the latest update.. Although it might also be a coincedence. I have troubleshooted the issue towards not enough inotify triggers, as described in this post: https://support.code42.com/CrashPlan/4/Troubleshooting/Linux_real-time_file_watching_errors I want to make the fix and for that I ofcourse have to log into the crashplan docker.. However when I give the command: docker exec -it CrashPlanPRO bash it does not work and I get the following error message: rpc error: code = Unknown desc = oci runtime error: exec failed: container_linux.go:262: starting container process caused "exec: \"bash\": executable file not found in $PATH" The same command works fine with my other dockers..
  5. Cache drive and downloading

I understand the sentiment... But in reality it is not at all a certainty that you are saving your drives... They are really build to be run..
  6. Cache drive and downloading

I would just add that 1 TB drive into the array (so not using unassigned devices), and then create a user share that you limited to that new disk. And put your downloads in there.. That way you have that drive parity protected also, maybe the data is not that important but combined with the user share it means that a fail of that disk will only need a new disk, no configuration, and if you want to in the future it is also quite easy to move that user share to another drive, or start using an extra drive for that share..
  7. Hard crash rc9f

Just got home and found my backup server unreachable. It has been working with this version since it was released. The server is only running syncthing as a docker and a few base plugins.. Nothing was reachable anymore, I was able to take a picture of the console screen: Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatral exception in interrupt Kernel Offset: disabled Must say this looks like one of the more difficult releases (at least for my hardware situation), not complaining though, fully aware I am using a non-final version.
  8. Second time server crash on latest 6.4

And another crash: I am faily confident its the syncthing docker... I have been restarting it every couple of days and it kept on running... Guess I waited to long.. Oct 5 07:28:11 Tower kernel: CPU: 2 PID: 14057 Comm: Plex Tuner Serv Not tainted 4.12.14-unRAID #1 Oct 5 07:28:11 Tower kernel: Call Trace: Oct 5 07:28:11 Tower kernel: out_of_memory+0x3ac/0x3ce Oct 5 07:28:11 Tower kernel: Killed process 12884 (shfs) total-vm:25180156kB, anon-rss:21844748kB, file-rss:4kB, shmem-rss:716kB

And another crash. I will switch off syncthing.. Its the latest plugin I added..
  10. unRAID OS version 6.4.0-rc8q available

Installed it before rebooting, now running it.
  11. unRAID OS version 6.4.0-rc8q available

Which plugins are using their own tablesorter ? Bit reluctant in shutting down all my plugins for a week..
  12. unRAID OS version 6.4.0-rc8q available

    And the third crash...
  13. Second time server crash on latest 6.4

    And again Sep 24 07:38:18 Tower kernel: CPU: 6 PID: 26074 Comm: java Not tainted 4.12.10-unRAID #1 Sep 24 07:38:18 Tower kernel: Call Trace: Sep 24 07:38:18 Tower kernel: out_of_memory+0x3ac/0x3ce Sep 24 07:38:18 Tower kernel: Killed process 18162 (shfs) total-vm:24973196kB, anon-rss:21359480kB, file-rss:4kB, shmem-rss:600kB ... tower-diagnostics-20170924-0839.zip
  14. Second time server crash on latest 6.4

6.4 worked without any issues in every beta but the last one.. Have not tried safe mode since it seems to only go wrong every week..
  15. unRAID OS version 6.4.0-rc8q available

Thanks but this really appeared in the latest unraid version.. So something is going wrong there.. Maybe it can be circumvented with this though..
