  1. So I went through the install process.... After my motherboard splash screen that system sits with a blinking courser and is stuck there. Suggestions? After about 6 reboots now seems to work. I set boot from legacy + uefi to just uefi the back to legacy+uefi and it worked.
  2. So it turns out immediately after I posted this, I restarted in the docker for all three and tested it out to a successful outcome. It turns out switching the mapping from /mnt/user/Downloads/ to /mnt/cache/Downloads/ fixed the issue, it just needed to be restarted. I'm going to leave both these posts here for the future. Good luck future. I actually went back and forth between linuxserver and binhex to see if the issue was separate and the issue initially arose on this version. Just wanted others to know there should be an issue. I do have one remaining issue to contend with. I reinstalled radarr several times in order to try fixing my old problem. My uninstall process consisted of uninstall the docker and removing the image, then ensuring the folders were deleted out of /mnt/user/appdata/radarr and /mnt/cache/appdata/radarr. After reinstall, any movie I added would have random artwork. Way far off, as if it was randomly selecting something from my previous library somehow. If I removed a movie then readded it, it would have a different random piece of artwork. The 'background' image is correct, it's only the movie cover artwork that is wrong both in the preview and also once clicked into the movie. Any suggestions for a healthy uninstall so I can start from scratch? [SOLVED] It appears that when you wipe everything and reinstall, the posters for the movies metadata is stored in your browser cache. Clearing your browser cache will resolve normalcy. Thanks.
  3. Well I am officially at my wits end. I have been having the same issue many others have been having with radarr/sab searching for/finding/downloading a file but I get the infamous Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Radarr: /data/Complete/Logan.2017.NOIR.EDITION.BDRip.x264-SNOW English I have read the docker FAQ here and I've ensured that my /data is mapped consistently across each platform of sonarr/radarr/sabnzbd. Sonarr works without issue. Radarr cannot find the file when its time to move the file. I have tried both mnt/user/Downloads and mnt/cache/Downloads. My setup is as follows: At a complete loss of how to fix this issue from here with wha I've read so far. The file will successfully go from the /Downloads/Incomplete to the /Downloads/Complete folder where it will just sit.
  4. Hello. I am attempting to use rclone to backup my unraid nas to B2. I have been following the instructions here. Unfortunately, when I use rclone to create a mount point in /mnt/disks that should be linked to my B2 account, the command never creates the mount point. I have tried many ways. I execute the script with 'user scripts' plugin, running in background. The logs in 'user scripts' show no errors. However, never is there a folder created in /mnt/disks. Has anyone had this issue? Thanks.
  5. I appreciate the replies but your advice is off base. I should have been more detailed with what I'm trying to accomplish vice linking to a video so I'll take the hit on that. I'm setting up a B2 backup using rclone via the instructions in the video here. I have created the user scripts to mount the B2 storage point using the rclone plugin however when I run the scripts with the user scripts plugin... nothing is mounted in the /mnt/disks folder.
  6. Hmm interesting. I don't have any unassigned disks at the moment but that makes sense. It sounds then that I am making some type of mistake following the instructions in that video. I'll have to go through again and see if its something silly.
  7. Hello. I am following this guide to use rclone to backup my system to B2. Everything was going well, however I created a user script to create a mount in /mnt/disks/ Unfortunately, after following the instructions it appears my /mnt/disks folder is empty. I actually haven't delved into this folder since getting running on UNRAID last week. I suspect that there should be other files in this folder but it is completely empty. I am in the middle of adding a 3TB disk to my drive if that matters. Thanks.
  8. Hello! Sorry if this has been answered already. I'm in the middle of a 3 disk (8TB per drive) preclear. I was forced to reboot the server. I attempted to restart the the preclear through the GUI (didn't know it was an option... awesome!), however when my screen popped up showing my disk information: ############################################################################################################################ # # # unRAID Server Pre-Clear of disk /dev/sde # # # # # # # # Device Model: WDC WD80EFAX-68LHPN0 # # Serial Number: 7SGJ339C # # User Capacity: 8,001,563,222,016 bytes [8.00 TB] # # Firmware: 83.H0A83 # # Disk Device: /dev/sde # # # # # # # # # # # # Type Yes to proceed: # # # ############################################################################################################################ # # ############################################################################################################################ This is a graphical image in a website. It says "Type Yes to proceed:" but this is essentially just an image. How to I get the preclear to continue? Thanks!
  9. Hello all FreeNAS convert here. I installed unraid on my old freenas box (which admittedly had been having some strange errors). No issues with install, installed a singular drive, ran a preclear over the course of 18 hours which came back successful. I then booted down system, installed my remaining 6 drives, and attempted to turn on the system. Immediately the system would de-power. It appears now that I cannot power on the computer with the drives connected. I tested it out in several ways and bottom line is: Any time any of my 6 drives are receiving power, the computer will power off. From a cold start it will get power for a quarter second and spin down. If I plug a drive in while powered on it will immediately cut the power. This goes for HDD and SDD. I changed the power supply and the same issue exists. Potentially a short in my STA bus? Additionally... I've taken the drives out and plugged them into my main computer. 5/7 of the drives no longer spin up..... At a loss here. Thankfully I had my non replaceable data saved on external disks but it appears I did lose about 3 TB of media which I can re-download. I have posted a quick build profile here to replace my hardware ASAP but if anyone has any idea what could potentially fix this issue i would appreciate it. Using SUPERMICRO MBD-X10SL7-F-O.
  10. Hello all. I had a self built NAS that I had for a few years that I was running freeNAS. I decided to switch to unRAID for it's ease of expandability and docker support. I precleared one disk, and was ready to go nuts so I plugged my other 6 drives in and now the computer would turn over with power. In fact, if I plug any harddrive into my box and attempt to power on, the system immediately shuts down. If no drives are attached, it will boot right into unraid. Otherwise something gets tripped and off goes the system. Several of the drives that were working fine just moments before now will no longer spin up on another computer. Any ideas? Anyways.... I am assuming the motherboard is shot and going to build a temporary unit that I need to last for about 2-3 years as I transition to a different living situation and can build a 'dream' system. I primarily need the system to hold about 5-10 disks and transcode 2-3 plex streams as well as run SAB, couchpotato, sonarr etc. Nothing too heavy. Here's what I have so far and would appreciate any advice if the system isn't going to work. This is rushed since my whole network/entertainment etc depends on having a box up and running and right now I'm stuck with the situation described above. What is your budget? 400-700 How many drives do you want your server to be able to support and how much capacity do you need? 5-10 drives 15-25TB Is expandability important to you? If so, what's your long term goal? I will be upgrading to a long term system in 2-3 years. Are you interested in running any unRAID Add Ons (see here)? If so, which ones? Be specific. Plex, SAb, Sonarr, Couchpotato Do you want to run green/low power drives or faster 7200 rpm drives? If you don't have a specific need for 7200 rpm drives, then choose green drives. Greens on this system. Do you have any spare parts laying around that you would like to apply towards your build? This includes drives. Yes see below. If you already have parts in mind, please oh pretty please post links to them so that we don't have to look them up. Planning on following: Intel i7 4770 LGA 1150 Have for free from old build. Fractal Node 804 ASUS Q87M-E/CSM LGA 1150 Intel Q87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard FSP Dagger 500W Mini ITX Solution / SFX 12V / Micro ATX 80 Plus Gold Certified Full Modular VR / 4K Ready Gaming Power Supply (SDA500) Kingston 24GB (3 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Desktop Memory Model KVR13N9K3/24 I have 6x 3TB WD Greens right now. As stated above however, most of them simply stopped spinning up after attempting to boot up unraid with them attached for the first time. Not sure what will work once i get my new system in. I will likely be buying Red 8TB's during the black friday sales and they are not included in this budget. I recognize the system will not use ECC since the i7 4770 does not support it.... but it is a placeholder system and I have a free 4770, so it would be a shame not to utilize it. Unfortunately, that drove most of my decisions for the build. Again... this is not a long term solution, just need it for about 3 years. Needs it for a plex server with sab, couchpotato, sonarr. Need to order ASAP and will be doing so by end of day today! PS - If anyone could help with why my old NAS suddenly refused to boot and seems to be eating drives i'd appreciate it! I've replaced the power supply to no avail. The moment a power connector is attached to a drive (hdd, sdd doesn't matter) my computer powers off.
