  1. You can pass your GPU through and use the sound from the HDMI cable or you can buy a USB sound card and pass the USB device through to your VM. The USB sound card method is the way I am doing it right now, If you have a dedicated PCI soundcard then you can pass that through instead Also... The GTX 1080 would work perfectly, Feel free to send me one too haha
  2. I am running my GTX 970 on a VM so I can only assume VR would work just as well, Just get a powerful single card and you will be good to go.
  3. I am not using RDP or VNC, I am using GPU passthrough Edit : I have just done a CPU stress test and it doesn't seem to be caused by the CPU usage, I was playing a game that was minimised at the time, It wasn't a GPU intensive game and I have a GTX 970, Never had the issue before outside of the VM environment.
  4. Hello, I have noticed when the CPU is being used, Not massively the mouse starts to slow down and lag in Windows 10. I have an i7 6700K and 16GB RAM and I am only using Windows 10 at the time when I am lagging.
  5. Hello, I have searched around the forum and found that the issue is because the Audio Device is in the same group as a few other devices. Would it be possible to isolate it out of Group 10? Looking at the group it seems to have some important devices in it. IOMMU group 10 00:1f.0 ISA bridge [0601]: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-H LPC Controller [8086:a145] (rev 31) 00:1f.2 Memory controller [0580]: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-H PMC [8086:a121] (rev 31) 00:1f.3 Audio device [0403]: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-H HD Audio [8086:a170] (rev 31) 00:1f.4 SMBus [0c05]: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-H SMBus [8086:a123] (rev 31)
  6. I have been trying to find the option to choose a specific disk for the share but I can't seem to find it? Edit: Found it I also assumed it had some sort of RAID due to it having an Array and allocation methods like High-water
  7. Hello, Is it possible to setup one specific drive to be an SMB share? At the minute it will use RAID and split files between disks, I want to be able to just have the one drive as the share.
  8. I have played around and Linux has 1x GTX 970 and Windows has 1x GTX 970, Thanks for the help guys
  9. Hello, I am going to purchase for the GPU Passthrough capabilities. I have one question to ask... I have SLI GTX 970, So I will have one GPU for Linux OS and then the other GPU for Windows (Gaming). The graphics cards have a DVI and HDMI Slots, Would it be possible to utlilise both DVI and HDMI so I can have two screens for each OS and then switch over using my KVM switch? Thanks in advance
