  1. Not that I can find. As of now it just pick ups from download folder and transcodes straight into another folder, but does not move AFTER it is transcoded. This would solve my problem for sure, but I am not sure it can be configured that way.
  2. My unraid machine downloads files snatched with sickrage. The file is put in a handbrake watch folder and encoded to x265. Handbrake puts the encoded file in the folder sickrage post processes from. Problem is it moves my files before they are done encoding. Is there a setting in sickrage like “minutes file must remain same size before processing”? I know you can set it to delay if sync files are present but handbrake does not put sync files in that folder. Any suggestions, or work around?

  4. Autofan changes fan speeds according to the highest HDD temp, in doesn't care for MB or CPU temps. That explains everything thanks. I guess ill connect all my case fans to the pwm hub and run them separately through AutoFan and hook my CPU cooler separately and run from Bios.
  5. I've installed AutoFan but I'm having problems. It detects my PWM, it detected my minimum PWM where it throttled all the fans down and ramped them back up. I can reset the minimum PWM manually and that works as well. I have system temp installed and its reading the CPU temp. BUT when my CPU temp reaches my maximum threshold auto fan doesn't do anything. It will just stay at whatever minimum PWM is set. Any ideas? When I turn off auto fan my fans run near 100% even with fan control set in bios. Ive tried turning fan control on and off in the bios and AutoFan still doesn't work. Maybe I have the wrong temp set for CPU? In system temp plugin I see: k10temp temp 1 it8721 temp 1 it8712 temp 2 it8712 temp 3 I have an Asus Sabertooth 990FX V2 with AMD fx8350 if that matters.
  6. I'm not trying to be a smartass, but it will probably come off like that. Back up your current BTRFS cache pool using the method that you were planning to use anyway, physically remove and replace the drives and restore your backup to the new XFS cache disk. If it doesn't work, then your backup strategy isn't going to work either. This is the best time to test out your strategy, because if it doesn't work, you still have the intact cache drives to work with. I think that's what I will try, I just hope that if I replace one drive it won't make me use btrfs since it will still be in a pool. If it doesn't work I'll have that intact drive that I took out as a backup.
  7. I'm trying to go from two btrfs drives to one xfs drive.
  8. If by "rolling back" you mean change to another filesystem, then you can't do it without formatting the cache. Yeah, that's what I mean. I figured if going from 2 drives to 1 I would switch to xfs since everyone says it's more stable, but since I'm not that savvy I might just have to leave it in btrfs and hope I don't run into any problems. I'm currently looking for cloning software that will clone one btrfs drive to a xfs drive, which would save me a lot of headaches.
  9. Someone pointed out to me that going from 2 cache drives in btrfs cannot be swapped to 1 cache drive and be rolled back off of btrfs without formatting the drive. Can anyone confirm this?
  10. I've read how to replace a cache drive, but for my situation I am wondering if this is possible. I have two 120GB SSDs in a cache pool, and I am wanting to move to a single 275GB SSD due to device limits. I was wondering since they are pooled, if I replace one of the 120s with my 275, and then restart the array if unRaid will automatically populate the new 275. After I confirmed (don't know how) that the new 275 drive has been copied to, I would just take the 2nd 120 drive out of the array. I plan on returning the two 120gb SSDs and getting an additional 5TB for my array. I am not worried about a cache pool because I will periodically backup the cache drive. I have never worked command line so the MC method to copy to the new drive would be way more work than I can handle.
  11. Krusader did just what I needed. Thanks!
  12. Has anyone successfully got a printer on CUPS to work thru windows? I added my printer in CUPS setup no problem, and even have it working thru my MacBook. I have "Share printers connected to this system" checked, and even have "allow printing from the internet" checked. When searching for local or internet printers on Windows nothing shows up. Ive followed a few online guides, enabled ICP, tried adding printer by name, by hostname, by IP address, and nothing works. Just wondering if I am missing a critical step to get this to work? Thanks! EDIT: Got it working. Just installed Bonjour Printer services from Apple and it shows Airprint HP.....
  13. To get deluge to work with couchpotato you have to edit the username and password to get it to work for some reason. The way it is currently in the configuration files does not work, so I need to edit the config files to let couchpotato have access to deluge and start downloads. I also read to move a current plex setup over to my new unraid box I need to find and replace some configuration files. So I need to be able to edit those as well. Is there no type of editor for Dolphin? When I find the files in Dolphin it asks me what I should use to open those files but I see nothing to chose from. I'm not familiar with nano, but if I have no choice then I guess I will try it, other wise Ill just scrap unraid before buying it and run everything on windows server.
  14. I am having the hardest time getting couchpotato or sickrage to work with any downloader. Instead of having everything workable from the get go, everything I read says to go to this file and edit your user and password, or go to this file and change this or that. Well, how do I edit text files so I can finally get this working? I view them either thru the appdata share or thru dolphin but have no way to edit them. I cannot see appdata on any other computer outside of the unraid system. It shouldn't take hours to get two dockers to work with each other, so frustrating! Its not like I am computer illiterate lol.
  15. So when I'm in couch potato webUI, where you add your current library to Manage it, and I click browse I should be looking for /movies and then unRAID will point that to mnt/user/MOV ? EDIT: That explains everything. I feel dumb. Thanks!
