  1. Yeah, if you are using the bridge, you will need to add the required Ports to the configuration settings. so they can pass through to the Homeseer docker.
  2. That's sounds like one of the reasons i set up the dedicated IP address. Need to configure this in the Docker settings also. If you have used the bridge settings, then you will also need to add the ports for the docker container. The homeseer will be accessible via your UnRaid IP and the ports you configure in the docker container. 8080 to 80 for e.g.
  3. can you post a screen shot of your homeseer docker settings?
  4. Using the settings similar to mine, i just enter the address http://192.168.0.128 in my browser and it opens. you can open the advanced docker settings and enter this as the WebGUI URL also so you can access from the Docker screen.
  5. That's up to you and how you want your systems to work. My preference was to let HomeSeer have its own dedicated IP address so i didn't have to configure multiple ports when adding new plugins etc.
  6. Adding the docker should download everything for you. You will need to enter a licence key in the Homeseer web settings once running. Note the IP address, you may need to enter a different one based on your network setup.
  7. Hi, All i did was go the Docker screen, click 'Add Container' and enter the details as per the setup image. I was moving from a PC installed installation, so copied my configuration files across to the HomeSeer directory in the appData directory. I've been running mine for some time now, with little issues with homeseer itself. (Just some temperamental Z-Wave devices) Good Luck
  8. Ok, so a power failure is not great, but sometimes the UPS just doesn't hold out long enough. Every time the server is powered off i have one Docker Application that will not start and has to be delete and re-added. I'm fairly new to Docker and have got by the best i can. The Repository I'm using is: bradsjm/homeseer3 This is for HomeAutomation, so really need this to come back online ASAP. What am i missing? Where can i get more debug details: Model: Custom M/B: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. - SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 CPU: AMD FX™-6300 Six-Core @ 3500 HVM: Enabled IOMMU: Enabled Cache: 288 kB, 6144 kB, 8192 kB Memory: 16 GB (max. installable capacity 32 GB) Network: bond0: fault-tolerance (active-backup), mtu 1500 eth0: 1000 Mb/s, full duplex, mtu 1500 Kernel: Linux 4.14.40-unRAID x86_64 OpenSSL: 1.0.2o Uptime: 0 days, 00:24:19 Thanks
  9. Thanks :-) just what i needed after breakfast. another productive day ahead lol
  10. Just updated to V.6.5.0 and started rebuilding my VMS after an SSD Install. On the VM tab, ive attempted to increase the disk1.img file for one of my VM's from 20G to 30G, but this is failing. No error is displayed, but a blank screen with the following URL displayed: http://tower/VMs?subaction=disk-resize&uuid=fa9bea59-7b21-5e14-7f9b-f5f0566007f9&disk=/mnt/user/VDISKS-CACHE/Windows10/vdisk1.img&oldcap=20G I've tried refreshing the screen in both EDGE and IE. No joy on either. Has anyone else experienced the same and know of a workaround / fix? The disk already has the OS installed. Just need to be larger for an upgrade :-(
  11. Hello, I was using the setup for some time, but was having trouble with some of the apps on other devices attempting to connect to HomeSeer. The IP being returned from MyHS was an Internal Docker IP address. I did some digging and now my HomeSeer Docker container picks up its own IP address on my network :-) I don't have to configure the ports here and all the Apps now function correctly. I should have bookmarked where i found the information on how to set this up with Docker. Some Command Line entries are required along with the extra Parameters specified below. Just Thought I'd share :-)
  12. Hi, Did you manage to put something together for running Homeseer in a Docker? Thanks
  13. My system is running fine :-) settings are configured to power on automatically should the power fail. If the power does fail the UPS will kick-in, but then the devices being controlled wont have any power anyway :-(
