love that i can use different disk sizes would love to see a better gi for the process page. i am not great with linux, so reading that page to figure out what is using all the resources is a little difficult for me.

here is a norco 4020 that i have on a shelf. i now use the supermicro systems. located in Reedsburg, WI $200 local pick up. not sure on what shipping would be. comes with what you see (yes, i do have the cover)

where in the midwest are you (you can pm me if that is easier). i believe i have a 20 bay norco around here somewhere. otherwise i have 2 of the supermicro 16 bay chassis on a shelf.

still have 2 of these left great machines for anyone looking to get into a rackmount array.

i have the port set to the same number on both the app on the settings for the plugin. i can access the webGUI for the server itself and for the ControlR plugin with no issues (from both my desktop and my phone) thank you

i have been playing with this for a couple weeks now and just can not get it to link to either of my servers. i have upped the timeout function to 25000ms. i have created other users to see if that is the issue. any advice?

i wasn't sure how to title this, but here is the situation. i have a backup server in a remote location. the internet connection in the remote location is slow... very, very slow... 1.5mb download slow (dsl in the middle of remote wisconsin). so, i built the server at my house and transferred (rsync) the initial 40tb of data to the backup server. now i need to sync everything (about 500gb a week or so). i know that i can use the -time function in rsync, but i have already fallen about a month behind and am not entirely sure what is current and what is new anymore. i can access my remote server and telnet into it from my home computer. i can initiate an rsync function, but it will take longer than i have (current speeds puts it somewhere in the realm of 1 year or so). my question is this. is there a way for me to do a --dry-run function, then have it output that to a portable drive plugged into the main server? sorry, my linux is minimal at best. thank you

wow, really, 2.5 years for me to get to this. well, here are the results. i currently have one of these running at my office as a backup to my main unraid setup at my house. it works just fine. i did have to go into the bios and activate the onboard sata ports (don't know why), but this test unit currently has (8) 8 TB drives and a 240gb ssd installed. parity check says around 94.1mb read speed. i will probably use one more of these as an onsite backup so that leaves one or two available.

for media sharing i use plex. i currently share with my sister in Portland, OR, my brother in Chicago, IL and my parents (whom only live about 15 miles from me). we have all been watching different movies/tv shows at the same time and no one has reported any issues.

Yeah, you have it right. There was something broken in the latest release. I am sure they will sort it out soon enough. I'm currently 200 miles from my server and casting a show to a tv at my brothers house. Everything is working great.

I have the same issue. I am running dual 6 core processors and 48gb of ram. If I have my transcode set to the ram (/tmp) I can watch some tv shows, but none of my movies. I changed the transcode to my cache drive ( mnt/cache/) then my movies work fine. I have to believe that something with the new update has changed. For now I have left my transcode set at the cache drive. I would prefer it set to ram, but right now it doesn't work for me.

here is what i have found (with some searching on the plex forums). i changed my transcode folder from /tmp to /mnt/cache/ this seemed to clear up my problem. i can now play all the movies in my library. i am not sure on the actual issue as i have 48GB of ram installed in my server and the dashboard says it is using 4% (~1.5GB) so there should have been more than enough. anyways, now it is working. if the people here need some kind of log from me let me know as i am not qualified to read those things (well, i can read them, but i have no idea what they mean). glad it is working again though

any news on this? i am having the exact same problem. i can play movies shows that i added a month ago, but nothing really much new than two weeks ago. tv shows seem to work alright, but large movies that i have ripped on to the server will not play. here is my other observation, i can play the same movies in Kodi (XBMC) and they play just fine. anyone have a suggestion? thanks

I did end up deleting my docker.img file. I have mine set at 50GB. I created a new one and now it seems to be working again.

I am having the same exact issue. I had a docker tab 2 days ago, but today I dont. I have rebooted 3 times with no luck. Any help would be great.
