I currently have a tower with 11 drives but I'm planning to upgrade to bigger drives and realistically I don't think I'll ever need more than 10 drives. I'm looking for the smallest case I can find that fits a m-atx motherboard and 2 5x3 drive cages. Any recommendations would be great.
I just upgraded my server so I could make use of dockers so I now have an extra motherboard, cpu and ram.
Motherboard - ASUS M4A785-M w/ backplate and manual
CPU - AMD Sempron LE-1250 w/ stock heatsink and fan
Memory - 2 x 1GB Kingston KVR667D2/IGR and 2 x 1GB Samsung M378T2953EZ3
All these parts work fine. These have been in my server since 2011 and I have never had any problems with any of it.
I'd prefer to trade for a 5x3 cage if at all possible but I'm willing to consider other things.
Well thank you guys for all your help. I've upgraded my hard drives 5 or 6 times over the years and have never run into any problems like these. Next time I upgrade a drive I will be a little more careful about my data. Uploaded a pic so you guys can see my setup. Parity is the drive at the very top.
There are no loose connections and the parity happens to be on the new cable I just replaced. I ran 2 parity checks with no errors after replacing the cable, powered down, replaced disk 8 and powered up, started rebuild and when done parity reported millions of errors. Not really sure where to go from here. Unraid has disabled my parity drive now.
I upgraded another hard drive last night and started a rebuilt and today when it finished the parity had a ton of errors. Not sure what's going on all of a sudden. I had just did a parity sync the night before with no errors.

I recently added a new 6tb hard drive to my array and while rebuilding the gui became unresponsive. I waiting long enough for the rebuild to finished before powering down the machine but after rebooting it kicked off the parity rebuild again. I finally got the rebuild done but now my parity keeps being removed from the array and I'm not sure what has happened to it because it was working fine until I added the new drive. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
