  1. I followed the guides and everything is back up and running, I changed the global settings for the Docker so it can have 3 logs on rotation with a maximum file size of 50MB. Fix Common Problems all looks good now, below are the results again from the cmd you posted earlier. drwxr-xr-x 9 root root 560 Dec 16 14:45 ./ drwxr-xr-x 14 root root 320 Dec 16 14:45 ../ -rw------- 1 root root 0 Nov 8 12:02 btmp -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 27 19:22 cron -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 27 19:22 debug -rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 86K Dec 16 14:44 dmesg -rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 11K Dec 16 14:56 docker.log -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1.9K Dec 16 14:45 faillog -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 18K Dec 16 14:45 lastlog drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 120 Dec 16 14:45 libvirt/ -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 27 19:22 maillog -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 27 19:22 messages drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 40 May 15 2001 nfsd/ drwxr-x--- 2 nobody root 60 Dec 16 14:45 nginx/ lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 Nov 8 12:01 packages -> ../lib/pkgtools/packages/ drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 80 Jun 19 14:13 pkgtools/ drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 520 Dec 16 14:45 plugins/ -rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 0 Dec 16 14:45 preclear.disk.log lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 Nov 8 12:02 removed_packages -> pkgtools/removed_packages/ lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 Nov 8 12:02 removed_scripts -> pkgtools/removed_scripts/ drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 160 Dec 16 14:45 samba/ lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 23 Nov 8 12:01 scripts -> ../lib/pkgtools/scripts/ -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 27 19:22 secure lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 Nov 8 12:01 setup -> ../lib/pkgtools/setup/ -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jun 27 19:22 spooler drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 60 Oct 16 20:19 swtpm/ -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 221K Dec 16 14:56 syslog -rw-rw-r-- 1 root utmp 7.9K Dec 16 14:45 wtmp Thanks for the help.
  2. The only way to fix the Docker image size and reduce it is to fully remove it and then add it all back again manually right, for each docker img?

  4. I think it has something to do with the SabNZB docker container, I just pulled the container sizes and I doubt it should be over 20GB.
  5. So for some reason that I dont understand my Docker image has reach its full capacity and has no more space, I increased the space to 30GB from 25GB to see if this would continue and it did, I am not sure of the cause, I have attached my Diagnostics zip. wedge_server-diagnostics-20181216-1322.zip
  6. I have a wireless 5G connection between the Shield and the server, the server is wired to the router, this is the same local network. I am trying to play a 4K remux file encoded with X.265. I will add that Plex is set to play at Original Quality only and that Home streaming is set to maximum. Plex likes to default to 7.1 audio on the playback of these files, they also have the 5.1 option which I usually switch too. Hopefully this information helps.
  7. I do not really understand what is happening as I have set Plex to play the content with Original quality but it continues to attempt to transcode the files, Emby on the other hand is capable of playing the same files with no issues at all.
  8. I have added the Emby docker to see if it is any better at Transcoding, there appear to be options in the Emby server to setup a Transcoding temp path, has anybody used this with their Cache SSD or RAM, if so does it work and how did you do it?
  9. I too would like to use the spare Nvidia GPU I have lying around rather than creating a Windows VM to use just for Plex, I am currently using a 5930k cpu and cannot take advantage of quick sync as it does not exist on this chip.
  10. I am using a 5930k cpu which has no Quick sync built in. I have a Nvidia Shield tv that is used for my media playback. I have issues playing certain files as they require transcoding and are very large rips of 4K content. How can I improve the transcoding abilities of the Plex server? I currently have 4 CPUs pinned to Plex and my unraid server has a total of 16GB ram along with an SSD cache drive.
  11. Everything seems to be working now, thanks for the help.
  12. I have updated all of them as seen below, I will try to test them now and see if they work.
  13. Ok that makes sense, I guess I should have figured it out myself as this seems to be a common issues for many users.
  14. Ok that worked so thankyou for that tip, now I am having issues with TV shows not being renamed correctly or moved, again this is not an issue for Radarr only Sonarr. I followed the setup guide in the video below when it came to setting up the downloads folder, I then set it up the same in Sab and Sonarr and Radarr as per the video. I noticed while watching the video that the Downloads folder location appears to be different depending on the Docker install, I added a couple of screenshots below showing all the points in the videos where SpaceinvaderOne sets up a share, docker etc.
  15. No I can do that today, but I don't understand why I would need it, I did not think it was a requirement.
  16. I do not have a spare monitor and keyboard to connect directly to the machine for console. I attempted to use Screen software application but it did not work after rebooting into Safe Mode as its part of a plugin and I rebooted with the plugins disabled, I did this as its noted in the guide itself. "That may mean stopping your Dockers, plugins, VM's, and the Mover, if any of those could possibly add files or make changes to the drive being converted. And you should check for and temporarily disable any scheduled backups from other machines. Yes, this can require some careful planning! You may want to consider rebooting into Safe Mode (stops plugins from loading), and disabling any VM's and the Docker service and the Mover."
  17. I booted into Safe Mode with all Plugins disabled, I cannot use Screen anymore, I assume because the plugins are disabled. I am using Putty to enter the commands, I am hopeful that it completes and there are no issues with the session. I assume that if there are I would have to start all over again?
  18. I have installed Screen, I assume I just open a Terminal from the unraid page and type screen to use it?
  19. I have been reading through this thread and the File System Conversion guide on the wiki, I just want to clarify if this is worth all the effort as I would use Option 1, Mirror each disk with rsync, preserving parity. I have a new 8TB Parity HDD and 4x 2TB existing Data drives, I have one new 2TB Data drive formatted to XFS this morning but currently with no data on it. As I understand it this is a perfect opportunity to work on this process, I just need to understand if it is worth the time, my server only contains media files, no personal photos or anything that would be a major issue if lost.
  20. Yes it mush have been a cable issue, I actually replaced it with a spare that has the locking mechanism, its working now, looks like 24hrs to rebuild parity.
  21. So I have a new 8TB HDD for my parity, I have just booted back into unRAID and for some reason I cannot see my SSD cache drive anymore in devices, I have not started the array. I have left the old parity HDD connected inside the PC, my plan was to rebuild the parity with the new HDD, then stop array, assign the old 2TB parity as Disk 5 and restart the array. I do not understand why my cache SSD has gone. Ok upon a quick double check of the drive assignments I see that the new 8TB HDD has been assigned (sdf), this is the same as the cache SSD drive assignment, how can I manually override this and assign as something else?
  22. I would also look into the Intel X99 platform as this was my choice of hardware and I purchased used several years ago, lots of threads on the CPU's and the X99 chipset has 10x SATA ports and 8x DDR4 slots and 4x PCIe x16 slots. I believe these can be picked up for a fairly low price used now, I installed a 5930k in my machine and have used it with a Windows 10 VM for gaming and Ubuntu VM as well as media storage.
  23. I figured out the issue, I had purchased the Windows 10 edition of Minecraft thinking it was the full game, I have now found out its the Pocket Edition and I cannot login to the MineOS server I created on it, I purchased the game directly from Mojang and can see my server and login with no issues. I now have to try and get a refund from Microsoft.
  24. I have installed MineOS docker and I am able to login and create a new server but any IP and port combination I try to use fails. If I set to the default port with no IP then the server works but I cannot access it. I have forwarded the port in my router to the IP of my unraid server. I am not sure what it is that I am missing but I am sure it's something simple.
