  1. Suddenly 5 of my 15 dockers state "unavailable" under version. I running 6.12.3. I tried refreshing but get the same message. Dockers are working fine. I haven't made any changes to my setup in over a year. Any suggestions? Diagnostics are attached. tower-diagnostics-20230828-1523.zip All is well this morning. IDK, maybe a server problem?
  2. I'm getting the following error message in the backuppc docker wen I try to edit host configs: Can't use string ("1") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at/usr/local/BackupPC/lib/BackupPC/CGI/EditConfig.pm line 600. Any thoughts?
  3. I upgraded to 6.12 from 6.11.5 and I can no longer access my server from my windows 10 VM, i.e. my mapped drives are unavailable and while my server shows up in the windows network I get an error message "the network path is not found" When I run Windows diagnostics it reports "Remote device won't accept the connection." I can access my server through the web gui in my windows vm interestingly enough. No ip addresses have changed from 6.11.5. I have since down graded to 6.11.5 and all is well. Any thoughts? Diagnostics are attached. tower-diagnostics-20230617-1046.zip

  5. One of my data disks has been reporting reallocated sector errors rather frequently and I was wondering is it safe to keep it in the array until it fails? My server is not that accessible and it will be a PITA to replace the disk so I'm procrastinating until I have some free time. Diagnostics are attached. Disk 2 is the culprit. tower-diagnostics-20230427-1030.zip
  6. I switched the flash drive from a USB 3 port to a USB 2 port. I didn't even realize it was connected to a USB 3 port. So far so good. I have a backup USB flash drive just in case. Thanks for the reply.
  7. I recently have have experienced a problem with my flash drive "dropping offline", i.e. I can't access the Unraid web gui from my Windows 10 VM. The VM keeps working fine but the shares are unreachable via the network. Shutting down and restarting solves the problem. I've attached diagnostics and the last log from my log server. Any advice? Thanks and Happy Holidays!syslog-192.168.0.190.logsyslog-192.168.0.190.logsyslog-192.168.0.190.log tower-diagnostics-20221223-0707.zip syslog.zip
  8. The latest update to the backuppc docker won't start on my system. Prior versions ran flawlessly. I had to revert to version 5.3.15 Any Ideas?
  9. I've been using the backuppc docker for a month or so and I'm trying to get email notifications working. I've configured msmptrc and can send test emails via the command line in the docker console but a script that I had successfully used in backuppc running in a vm doesn't send an email. I've attached a copy of the script. BTW, I can execute the script via the console command line and an email is sent without any variables. Any ideas? email.sh
  10. I created a Ubuntu server 18.04 vm and when I edit the vm to add a share mount point I can no longer ssh into the vm via putty. Aslo, other network functionality seems to be gone. I can get into the vm via VNC and the share is mounted. I have edited fstab with the same parameters I have successfully used on another Ubuntu VM I'm running. If I remove the mount point and delete reference to it in fstab I can once again ssh into the vm. I'm stumped. BTW, I'm running 6.10.03. Any suggestions? Here's the line I have used successfully in my other vm: Movies /media/Movies 9p noauto,x-systemd.automount,x-systemd.device-timeout=10,timeo=14,x-systemd.idle-timeout=0,trans=virtio,version=9p2000.L,_netdev,rw 0 0 Diagnostics attached. tower-diagnostics-20220720-0950.zip
  11. I have done this before, if I recall: 1. Stop the array 2. Unselect malfunctioning disk 3. Start the Array (missing disk will be emulated0 4. Shut down the server 5. Replace the disk 6. Start the server 7. Stop the array and select the replacement disk 8. Start the array and the replacement disk will be rebuilt. Procedure good?
  12. I have notifications set up. I just received warnings the past day or two that's why I ran the smart check. Diagnostics are attached. tower-diagnostics-20220715-1058.zip
  13. One of my disks is showing an error. I've attached the smart report. Is it time to replace this disk or is it a harmless error? Thanks. tower-smart-20220715-0801.zip
  14. Still unable to pass through my AMD HD 5450 gpu. Windows boots into a blank screen. This is with version 6.10.2. I've attached the diagnostic file. The VM can only be accessed with VNC. I never had problems with prior versions of unRaid. Any thoughts? tower-diagnostics-20220528-0911.zip
