  1. This board doesn't support iGPU, so it that is important to you then you should stay with your original pick. https://www.reddit.com/r/HomeServer/comments/9gvfpb/looking_for_a_replacement_for_a_supermicro_x11ssm/
  2. I'm very close... I added the printer, I can see it from other devices, but when I print the jobs in the CUPS webui says: "Unable to locate printer "86CA53000000.local"." Any help is apprecieated. I see a few references in googleing but I'm not sure how the docker fits into this, perhaps it isn't resolving properly in avahi? I tried changing the name to the IP, but that doesn't seem to work for me. I have a the IP dedicated, but I don't see where I can just change the hostname to the IP. ---------------------------- EDIT: I was able to resolve the network issue. I edited printers.conf and put in my IP on the DeviceURI line: DeviceURI dnssd://[IP_ADDRESS]/?uuid=00000000-0000-1000-8000-XXXXXXXXXXXX Unfortunately, it now prints, but the job hang at 9% and never completes... so it looks like I'm on to the next layer of troubleshooting.... flips
  3. Frys has 4TB HGST drives for $99. I thought I was out of luck because the page said no shipping to me, and the nearest frys is about 150 miles away. Then I went to google express hopeful they would ship, but I saw the same message on the product page. Then I tried to search google express for "HGST NAS 4TB" and saw that I was able to add to my cart from that page. I did a quick search for promo codes for google express and found a targeted code APPSHOP20, so I tried that from the app and it worked for me. So that brought it down to $80 with free shipping! Which is great timing as I am rebuilding my array with my last spare as I type this. There are other codes out there american express and tmobile it seems, neither of which I have, but you could try... 13. Thanks guys. That blackblaze report is one of the pages I read during my research which made me concerned.. @RobJ Thinking about your comment, if I put it back in the array with the smart issue then my array will be reporting an issue? So my daily email instead of the array is good, it will say the array is bad then I will have to go in and look to make sure it is only that issue and not a new issue. Is that correct? flips
  14. My parity was flagged as bad when I upgraded to v6, so even though the error happened a while ago, I still replaced it. googling 187 smart error seemed to be pretty serious... I ran 5 preclear cycles all passed, still zero relocated and pending sectors. Any thoughts on this? Anyone see a reason not to put it back in to the array? As always I really appreciate the help.
