  1. Thanks, Jonathan. No beeps with RAM and harddrives removed. I have the battery pulled to reset CMOS now. As a side note, I realized one of my other computers was also an AMD, so I switched out the CPU's. Both seem to be working, so it looks like it's a problem with the motherboard. If the CMOS reset doesn't work, I'll check the other forum for recommendation for AM2 motherboard.
  2. Hello everyone. I recently had a failed Antec power supply. It was under warranty so I had it replaced. My system worked fine for a few weeks, but at this point the screen is completely blank. No cursor, video screen, or anything. I have tested the system with two different monitors and cables, so I have ruled those out as the problem. When I turn the system on, the fans spin and I hear some general clicking and movement from other components that I can't pinpoint. The internal speaker does not give any "beeps" to signify the computer is booting. I am assuming that my problem is either a fried motherboard or CPU, but wanted to post this on here in case it's something obvious that I'm overlooking. Is there a way I can identify the problem before purchasing components? I do not have any additional motherboards or CPUs around the house. Thanks!
