  1. I'm using version 5.0b6a. I have 5 disks in my server. I changed disk1 to cache disk, by transferring all files from disk1 to 4. Then i stopped the array and used "new configuration" in utilities and reassigned the drives. The cache disk(old disk1) shows up as unformatted, I choose format now, but after it finishes, it still shows up as unformatted. I tried this a couple of times, but with the same result. Any ideas what the problem is.
  2. Worked like a charm , thanks alot.
  3. Ran the new permissions script. I now have write permissions to my shares, but I still can't make any changes in the flash share. Any ideas guys?
  4. Hi I just upgraded to 5.0-beta6a, and I'm having a bit of trouble creating a folder in the flash share. It seems the problem exists on all drives. I have read-only access, even though root is set to read/write access. In the flash share the settings are Export: Yes (Hidden) Security: Private root: Read/Write I log in the flash share with root and the pw i've created, but can't make changes in the folder, the same goes if I access it via telnet. Any suggestions to what the problem is.
  5. I have a question. I have a 5 drive setup with all my slots being used. Would it possible to use a 2,5" USB drive as cache drive?
  6. Hi I'm currently using a setup without a cache disk, but I can see that my parity drive and my download drive keeps spinning up, even thought sabnzbd is not downloading. I was wondering if any of you guys succeded in using sabnzbd without the drives keep spinning up when it's idle - and if so, how do your setup in sabnzbd folders menu look like.
  7. Hi I'm trying to install transmission on my unRAID. To get it to work, you need to edit a file inside the tgz package. Now I can off course unpack the tgz package an edit the file, but I can't figure out to create a new tgz file - "make install" won't work. I was thinking if there is a way to edit the file inside the tgz package without unpacking it. I can view the tgz files by "tar tzf file.tgz", but I can't figure out how to edit them. Help would be much appreciated:-)
  8. Hi I'm having some troubles here. I'm using Romirs sabnzbddependencies package, but i need to add libtbb.so and libtbb.so.2 to the package. What I did, was extract the tgz file add the 2 files and created a .tar file from the folder. Changed the ending of the file from .tar to .tgz and copied it to my package folder in unraid flash. When I run "installpkg /boot/packages/sabdependencies-2.0.tgz" command I get the following "WARNING: Package has not been created with 'makepkg'" I cannot install sabnzbd afterwards, so it seems that the sabdependencies have not been installed. Do any of you have any idea what i'm doing wrong and how you create a .tgz file that unraid can install.

  10. Hi I installed Unraid-Web and with it Ajaxplorer. Now I like the fact that you can browse your files through Ajaxplorer through the internet, but it seems meaningless that it uses the same port as Unraid-web, which leaves administration of the unRAID server open to anyone who access port 89. My question is: Can you change the port you access Ajaxplorer on, so it doesn't use the same port as Unraid-Web?
  11. I'm a bit of a noob. My par repair fails too. Could you paste a link to where I can download libtbb.so and libtbb.so.2 - I'm a little unsure of what they are and where to download them.
