  1. Wouldn't 4.3 be a downgrade from 4.4.2? Why not upgrade to 4.7 (latest stable) or 5.0b6 (pretty close to final)? Typo, ment to say upgrade to 4.5 (4.7 fine too). So what are the steps and can it be done from a Mac?
  2. Hope I didn't overlook the obvious (probably have ) but checked manual, searched forum and look for a thread with upgrade instructions in titile. I have 4.4.2 and would like to upgrade to 4.3. What are the steps involved (or please point (and chastise) me to a link)?
  3. That didn't do it. Isn't there a way to obtain the IP #? If I hit enter again I get this page.
  4. My unRAID has been working (and still is) flawlessly for months. However the IP address must have changed since my favorites page won't load . I need to add a new HD but can't get the browser to work. Been so long I can't remember anything and feel like a newbie. Seems like you could type Tower something (Tower goes to www.tower.com) in the address line but can't remember.
  5. I signed up for the Bing CB (not sure how to actually get CB) but can't figure out how to get the PayPal discount on the drives. I even ordered (3) of them using PayPal (and canceled) but no PayPal discount listed. What is the secret? On Bing if you select Newegg from the Bing shopping site does that automatically give you the cash back on your perches? Also how do you get this CB applied to you?
  6. No I have a Supermicro C2SEE MB that has 2 PCI-E slots and on board video.
  7. Yes, it is just plug and play with no settings or configuring to do. All I did was plug it in and hook drives to it. I have a 2ed one ready to install next time my unRAID is shut down.
  8. WOW, I just got around to installing. Thought it would be complicated (like most Linux commands and installs) but all that GOODNES in just one easy step. What a job and a great interface. Just one thing. How do I log into AjaXplorer? It asks for a user name and password. I tried root but no luck. I don't have any password or Users setup. Also my User Shares don't show space used.
  9. I may be wrong but I think Lime Technology is more of a part time one man (maybe a few others) garage company born and run out of passion. I don't see Lime Tech as having the resources, demand or desire for a phone support center.
  10. Is there a way to do this on a Mac? Can you use Terminal to log into the Tower?
  11. Is it possible to install on or will there be a Vista version? Also how about Windows 7?
  12. Good, luckily I picked the b5403 file. There was also a 3ed R5403 file but I think it's for a RAID setup.
  13. Thanks Rob, I will just do #3 (also you only need a PCI slot ). One question about another possible option. Can't you make a DOS boot USB drive and eliminate the need for a floppy or CD-ROM drive?
