Hi All, I am having issues gaining access to newly created folders since I have upgraded from 4.7, this occurs both in windows smb shares and any program trying to access files in unraid. I can solve this issue by using the new permissions button within the console; however, my main issue is when running my sabtosickbeard.py script. The script will create a new season folder then attempt to move the downloaded file into that folder but the following occurs each time: Loading config from /boot/scripts/autoProcessTV.cfg Opening URL: http://192.168.1.3:8083/home/postprocess/processEpisode?nzbName=Test <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></meta> <title>500 Internal Server Error</title> <style type="text/css"> #powered_by { margin-top: 20px; border-top: 2px solid black; font-style: italic; } #traceback { color: red; } </style> </head> <body> <h2>500 Internal Server Error</h2> <p>The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.</p> <pre id="traceback">Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/local/sickbeard/cherrypy/_cprequest.py", line 660, in respond response.body = self.handler() File "/usr/local/sickbeard/cherrypy/lib/encoding.py", line 193, in __call__ self.body = self.oldhandler(*args, **kwargs) File "/usr/local/sickbeard/cherrypy/_cpdispatch.py", line 25, in __call__ return self.callable(*self.args, **self.kwargs) File "/usr/local/sickbeard/sickbeard/webserve.py", line 1481, in processEpisode result = processTV.processDir(dir, nzbName) File "/usr/local/sickbeard/sickbeard/processTV.py", line 104, in processDir process_result = processor.process() File "/usr/local/sickbeard/sickbeard/postProcessor.py", line 834, in process self._move(self.file_path, dest_path, new_base_name, sickbeard.MOVE_ASSOCIATED_FILES) File "/usr/local/sickbeard/sickbeard/postProcessor.py", line 275, in _move self._combined_file_operation(file_path, new_path, new_base_name, associated_files, action=_int_move) File "/usr/local/sickbeard/sickbeard/postProcessor.py", line 255, in _combined_file_operation action(cur_file_path, new_file_path) File "/usr/local/sickbeard/sickbeard/postProcessor.py", line 273, in _int_move raise e IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/mnt/user/TV Shows/Test/Season 1/S01E08 - Test.avi' </pre> <div id="powered_by"> <span>Powered by <a href="http://www.cherrypy.org">CherryPy 3.2.0rc1</a></span> </div> </body> </html>

Hi, Hoping someone could help me, when i try to play a file from my unraid system either using a media centre pc with xbmc or my laptop the system hangs and wont play. A bit of background: I recently upgraded all my drives and while doing this something happened with the Mobo bios and it wouldn't go any further than the POST screen. I upgraded the bios to the latest ver. and all seemed fine. Looking at my syslog it seems to be a network error, but i cant figure it out. Nothing in the Bios seems to help, the mobo has 2 Lan ports, both give the same problems. I'm running 4.7 snippet from my syslog below Jul 17 14:14:35 Tower kernel: mdcmd (39): spindown 0 (Routine) Jul 17 14:14:35 Tower kernel: mdcmd (40): spindown 1 (Routine) Jul 17 14:16:01 Tower kernel: eth0: link down. Hi, Point taken, I'll provide more info next time!! Ive been using unraid for a couple of years now without a hitch but when something goes wrong i realize im a total newb! The thought of losing TBs of data tends to make me sweat!! I seem to have managed to sort it, by unassigning all the drives then adding all the data drives, starting the array, stopping it then adding the Parity I seem to be back in action. The parity is now syncing so i'm a happy camper! sorry for any trouble!

Hi, I have just tried to update my unraid from 4.5.3 to 4.7 - I downloaded the file and copied over the three files bzroot bzimage memtest to the root of the drive and rebooted the system. I reassigned the drives but now the array wont start and i recieve the message under the command area Stopped. Invalid expansion. I dont want to lose any data and im worried i press the wrong button!! can anyone help!

just as i expected to be honest, It runs flawlessly at the moment so did doubt any performance differences. As i am happy just now i think i will just sell the CPU, that'll give me a bit of cash for another drive

I currently have a sempron 2300+ in my unraid system and it does the job fine, however i have an athlon 64 X2 4800+ which i took from a friends PC due to an upgrade which i was going to throw up on eBay. is it worth upgrading? would i see any noticable difference?

Hi, I've done a bit of digging and found the following, however; i can't get it to work. can anyone help http://www.mediafire.com/?yvzfgyymi2l To install it place it all in your root directory for the webserver ('ve pointed mine to /conf/ , included is unrar-nonfree which the script also relies on being stored in /conf/ To change the settings the following changes need to be made for it to work... unrar.php $cmd = "/conf/unrarr /tmp/media/usb/USB2/9C3F-324E/downloads/completed/"; Change this line to where your completed deluge downloads are, and change /conf/unrarr if you choose to install it elsewhere (make sure unrar-nonfree is in the same directory though) unrarr If you choose not to have your completed torrents stored in a folder "completed" and/or don't want them extracted to "extracted" change the following lines mkdir -p ${DIRNAME/completed/extracted} unrar-nonfree e -o- $f ${DIRNAME/completed/extracted} thanks

I don't know if this has been covered before but a search didn't bring anything up so here goes. Is there such a thing as unrar.php? I was just looking to create a simple page to add in to unraidweb or lighttpd where i could browse for a file and choose an output dir. press a single button too run unrar.php, possibly a progress bar if i wanted to make it fancy? does anyone know of such a thing?

It is possible, as of now. I just figured the whole thing out, and I made you the two plugins you asked for: RSS and Scheduler. See the bottom of the first post. Thanks for the good idea! Purko Thanks

Just installed this, firstly i have to say WOW, really simple to install and great way to manage everything from the one place. I have a couple of problems; hopefully someone will be able to help I added my RUTorrent files to the extensions folder; it all works good but the button in the extensions menu has no text, the link is there. I have tried clearing cookies, rebooting the server etc but its staying the same. (I'm using the latest firefox) also I wanted to update to the latest ver. of Ajaxplorer, i have it installed but it stalls on the splash screen. Any help would be appreciated -
thanks for your help. please forgive me, i'm only learning I'll use screen and see if that solves my problem, i did find it strange as i've left it open overnight running bwm-ng and midnight commander and it never logged me out. on another note i'm currently using windows hyper terminal, would something like PuTTY be more useful?

I have installed unrar-3.7.8-i486-1stc_slack12.1.tgz its all working great; however when using it earlier to unrar a large archive (around 7GB) i was automatically logged out of my telnet session due to inactivity leaving the file only partly uncompressed It seems i have to press the return key every few of minutes to keep it alive. Is there anyway i can leave it unnatended?
