  7. So far so good , I’m now back on qemu 4.2 with the boot loader fix. And no issue at all. Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  8. Have done several shutdown's / restart's during last weeks with qemu 4.2 and with the added boot parameters and no issue at all.
  9. Looks stable with qemu 3.0 now I added "pcie_no_flr=1022:149c,1022:1487" to boot parameters and changed qemu to 4.2 on one of my w10 VM .......... so we will see after some day how it works.
  10. My 2 VM:s have been OK since I lower the quemu to 3.0, so far no issues with shutdown (2 W10 and one OSX) How did you patch unraid kernel @Leoyzen? and what is your qemu settings for the VM ? //Peter
  11. I have done a test to lower qemu settings to 3.0 and have not see any issue yet, I will let the VM's be on for a week or so before I do a new shutdown or reboot.

  13. I have 2 VM running. One VM have an AMD GPU and USB card pass trough and freezing unraid when shutting down. When shutting down the other VM with NVIDIA GPU and NO USB card pass trough it still freezing the unraid server 😞 😞 And nothing in the log 😞 😞 //Peter
  14. Thanks for the replay Jonp, I will look into this and disable the GPU and test. For me this issue have been here at least 1 year, perhaps longer. So it's impossible to say when it was working, BUT definitely it has been working in the past. //Peter

  17. Hi! no response att all. Still freezing after VM shutdown and nothing on the logs :-( Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  18. We might make the plugin support both ? I have no way to verify TAP. And my time is limit for time being. Good work ! Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  19. Have an issue for a long time that my server freeze after reboot or shutting down VM. Memtest is done and no errors. Have an screen session with "tail -f" run but nothing is logged in the time when restarted the VM. See attached file. What happens is that a lot of cores is at 100% some seconds after restarted the VM. syslog.txt_tail_f.txt tower-diagnostics-20191116-0815.zip
  20. Got a freeze today 😞 what happens is that several cors get up to 100% when shutting down VM and then unraid is no´t responding. And nothing in the log. BUT after a success shutdown of the VM the core even go to 100% for a few seconds and go down to normal and then its' continue to perform a nice shutdown. @limetech Is this info enough to start looking at this issue ?
  21. Did 2 success shut down of W10 & OSX yesterday, will do a new shut down of W10 this evening. Shut down of W10 was only after a 20 minutes, so next shot down show the freezing behavior again. So this 2 file (logs during shutting down VM) is just for reference when I have a log for an "Unraid feeeze" //Peter sucess-shutdown-osx.txt sucess-shutdown-w10.txt
  22. I will try more later this week, little bussy right now. First I will try and see the log show when it freezes. Then I will lok into use onboard USB for my Windows 10 VM to see if it's freezes or not. The USB card is only way to get any USB port work on the MAC osx VM and therefore I have it on my W10 as well. Thanks for your time and I will let you know later. Have a nice day //Peter
