  1. when i rebuild: reiserfsck --rebuild-sb /dev/sdb or reiserfsck --rebuild-sb /dev/sdb1? thanks.
  2. thank you. Currently copying disk 10 using : dd conv=noerror if=/dev/sdl of=/dev/sdx using sdl since md10 isn't recognized sdx is my extra hdd after i punched that in telenet, i just have a green cursor? is that is to be expected or is the process frozen? any signs of progress? % thanks.
  3. I'm finally getting around to doing the reiserfsck --rebuild-sb There are many questions asked? Enter block size [4096]: No journal device was specified. Is journal default? y/n: I've searched and could not fine any posts with instructions. Thanks.
  4. ran reiserfsck on disk 9 which state no corruptions. I rebooted array, disk 9 showed up again, no longer unformatted? strange. I'm elated. But what's going on? Thanks. Now gonna duplicate disk10 and try reiserfsck rebuild sb
  5. syslog.2 any other logs I should pull? syslog.2_4.11.13.zip
  6. before doing anything, my disk 9 just became unformatted.?? I have attached short smart report of disk 9. what is happening? thanks.
  7. I ran the check on disk 9, a good disk. Everything was okay. I ran on disk 10. It suggested rebuild sb. I included screen capture. How do I duplicate disk 10 before trying to rebuild per your instructions. I'm new to Linux. Thanks.
  8. Thanks for the reply. How do I make a duplicate of the disk?
  9. I tested the original redballed disk 1 with disk internal linux reader, and it was able to read it and there was data. It noted ReiserFS file system. I shut down the array, and pulled out the hard drive cage which included disk 8, 9, 10 (disk 8, and 9 are fine. disk 10 is "unformatted" and never redballed as I can tell, with good smart report). Disk internal linux reader notes noted these disks as linux system and could not read them? Not as ReiserFS file system? Not sure what that means? Thanks.
