  4. Introduction unbalanced is a plugin to transfer files/folders between disks in your array. Support Fund If you wish to do so, learn how to support the developer. Description unbalanced helps you manage space in your Unraid array, via two operating modes: Scatter Transfer data out of a disk, into one or more disks Gather Consolidate data from a user share into a single disk It's versatile and can serve multiple purposes, based on your needs. Some of the use cases are: Empty a disk, in order to change filesystems (read kizer's example) Move all seasons of a tv show into a single disk Move a specific folder from a disk to another disk Split your movies/tv shows/games folder from a disk to other disks You'll likely come up with other scenarios as you play around with it. Installation - Apps Tab (Community Application) Go to the Apps tab Click on the Plugins button (the last one) Look for unbalanced Click Install Running the plugin After installing the plugin, you can access the web UI, via the following methods: - Method 1 Go to Settings > Utilities Click on unbalanced Click on Open Web UI - Method 2<br/> Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins Click on unbalanced Click on Open Web UI - Method 3<br/> Navigate with your browser to http://Tower:7090/ (replace Tower with the address/name of your unRAID server)<br/> Check the github page for additional documentation Changelog The full changelog can be found here

  5. I took the GUI style efforts of Kode and Drakknar together and blended that in a new theme GRAY. Much obliged to them The new color theme has the 'header' buttons at the left side which expand when hovering over them. The top header is fixed, meaning status information stays on screen when scrolling down the page. All-in-all it gives a complete new fresh view to the GUI, hope you guys like this direction. Next, see if this can be integrated with the upcoming release of unRAID. Below some screen pictures to give you an idea.

  9. I'm not sure how any of you with the disk spin up issue are creating this situation with UD installed and uninstalled and determining that it is a UD problem. I have a drive mounted in a docking station in my test system and I was able to make this happen. It happens with UD uninstalled. The problem appears to be in the background monitor script built into unRAID. This should be posted as a defect in unRAID as I can make it happen without UD being installed and monitoring enabled.

  10. This means to move them either with a script or manually to another share. You will then use the info from the scraper in kodi/emby to get metadata for the TV show. There is nothing we can do about how tvheadend works, so it would be better to ask in the tvheadend forum if it's possible to get back the recordings if the recording path have changed.

  11. Use one of the other ethernet ports on the board. You are now connected to the IPMI port, which is for management of the board itself. Ps. Very nice board

  12. Docker Tab, advanced then delete the orphaned image. Then either the apps tab, previous apps section or Docker, Add Container and select the my-Plex template will bring back the template. Edit it and reinstall...

  13. With very rare exception, people using that many drives utilize server cases with hotswap bays. Otherwise the logistics of getting power and interface to all the drives just gets too hairy, too many chances for things to go wrong. Ebay is a good source for server cases at WAY less than retail.

  14. Although I understand where you are coming from, load averages are far more confusing, because a load average of say 4 on your system means (treating hyperthreaded cores as real cores) means 50% CPU utilization, on my system the same load average means 100%, and for many users here would mean 13%... IE: The same load average means something different depending upon which CPU you have installed. Not to mention that joe average user understands that 100% = 100% but would actually need to google (and understand) and perform the math to determine what the load average actually means to them. Mind you, FCP does for instance in its troubleshooting mode report the load average as its very useful when trying to determine out of control processes causing issues.

  15. Personally, I wouldn't worry so much about the wear and tear on the flash drive. They aren't that fragile, and transfers of registrations are super easy. But, I'm not going to support putting the tail onto any other device as the boot drive is the only persistent storage device that is guaranteed to always be available. Rather than try to link files, you can just tail it yourself with something like tail -f /var/log/syslog > /whereEverMountPoint/syslog.txt You won't however get the extra debugging information that may or may not shed any clues on the issue.

  17. The GUI loads two css files from the folder /webGui/styles, these are "default-<name>.css" and "dynamix-<name>.css" Currently the names "white" and "black" are available. You can create your own theme by introducing a new name and make the appropriate files, e.g. "default-gray.css" and "dynamix-gray.css". The new name becomes automatically available as a theme choice under Display settings.

  19. Host path 5 (/mnt/disks) has to be set to slave mode for it to work consistently (Because you're referencing /mnt/disks which is the path that Unassigned Devices uses). Edit that path and set the mode to be RW,slave
